We ate dinner here last night and it was great, as always. I love the fish tacos and a 394 draft. We shared a pretzel appetizer and it was delicious as well. The service is always excellent and you can't beat the people watching if you sit by the outdoor sidewalk. We will be back!

Beachside Bar & Grill is the neighborhood sports bar you'd expect. Simple and straight-forward, they offer 24 beers on tap plus a ton of sports channels. There are no pretenses or airs here. Let's keep it simple: Wings. They have a full menu page dedicated to wings. Since we've been eating our way through town, we only had the 5 piece order. As you can see from my pic, the wings were fairly sized and plump. They were moist and tender. The skins were slightly crunchy. Our sauce was the Beach Bleu - we went old school. The Blue Cheese was pureed into the sauce making all very smooth, but it was on the milder, less tangy side. The wings' sauce was a Louisiana based sauce and met the descriptive mild listing. Overall, it was good and with the "Das Chefeweisen" it became quite good.

Stopped by this spot after surfing. We chose this spot primarily because I didn't have a shirt and they seemed like the kind of spot that would be cool about that. I sat in the corner and sucked in the entire time, which seemed like the right and socially conscious move. I had the mahi blackened tacos which were delicious. I also had a couple beers which were also delicious. Would stop back here for sure

DOG FRIENDLY PATIO - plus for us. Got the dogs a chicken breast and paws up from them! Servers have always been friendly and good service. Big variety of beers and they come out nice and cold. My wife got the brisket sliders and sweet potato fries. Both she really liked and I got a taste and both were good. I got the Cuban with truffle fries and they were good and I'm not a big fries fan. Excellent Cuban, best I've had. Can't even think of one I've had that's been better than theirs. Stuffed full and well crafted. One of our favorite places to go!

Came here yesterday, in the middle of NFL. Very crowded and packed considering Omicron even. We tried to find a seat so we don't have to breathe and anybody or anyone breathe on us. Service was very slow but very sweet. There were a lot of people and I know with everyone sick with Omicron, we have to deal with the weights. I had the Ahi sandwich which was superb. Ordered Tito's, the shots were small. Friend had a delicious IPA. They have impossible burgers, a total plus. The rest of the menu seems to be mostly bar fare with wings, nachos. Usually we park and walk 4-5 miles and then end up at a place to eat. Lucky winner was beachside yesterday. I will be back.

We went down for the Encinitas Christmas Parade and put our names in for a table outside. They said it would be a 45 min wait. After walking through a couple of the dining areas we were able to sit in a first come booth for the four of us. Six people could of been a tight squeeze but doable. There are nice fire pit tables on the street and on the patio put back. A shuffleboard table in another room. TVs for watching the games too! There are windows that could be opened to the sidewalk so we asked if we could open them and Karina our server said sure! We enjoyed a 10 piece wings with Cajun chili lime and honey mustard! We added truffle fries and their GREAT fried cauliflower with a spicy chipotle ranch YUMMY!! Drink service was slow or fast depending on the crowd but you can't give them a ding for that on a busy night of hundreds of people downtown. Karina was super - we were down there for a good two hours and the bill for the four of us was about $230 + tip. We had mixed drinks, beer and spiked kambucha. I give it four stars for the wings that you really couldn't tell were different flavors and the two stall women's bathroom .

Wow was this place good! Just dropped by for the first time because we were walking by. So glad we stopped in! The bar area and the patio was packed, but there's booths and extra seating in the back of the place. You seat yourself which is great! Service was really great the entire time. They have a very large menu that would satisfy anyone, and they have a great drink menu! A few delicious unique cocktails and a great beer list. I ordered the chicken sandwich blackened with bacon and avocado. The food arrived pretty fast and the potions were huge! The sandwich was huge and so delicious! Everything tasted extremely fresh and had such great flavor. The truffle fries were also a winner, so much flavor and very crunchy. Food was outstanding, and so was the service. Will definitely stop by again!
